FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ICPA Marketing Audit Will Determine Market Strategies
May 1, 2007 (Arlington Va.) - As part of a new marketing strategic plan, the International Cast Polymer Alliance will conduct an internal and external marketing audit in order to determine how best to market cast polymer products to the public and revitalize the industry.
Wexler Marketing Group's Sheila Wexler will perform the audit in the coming months, and is expected to complete the project mid-summer. The internal audit will include careful inspection of all association publications, including Cast Polymer Connection, ICPA Express, and other written materials, as well as the ICPA website, www.icpa-hq.org. Wexler will then conduct an external audit in which she will learn how specifiers and end users perceive cast polymer products.
"Wexler's findings will serve as a priceless tool to ICPA as we begin this marketing initiative," said ICPA President, Tim Hill. "We look forward to implementing a plan immediately after learning the results of the audit."
The audit findings will contribute to ICPA's strategic plan, which began in February 2007 and has produced two new committees. The Education/Accreditation Committee, chaired by ICPA member Mark Laughlin, and Marketing Committee, co-chaired by members John Hoskinson, Dirk DeVuyst and Royce Newsom, will work closely as new plans are implemented following the audit.
